Life & Women

Some people today think life whether resulting from a good or bad situation is a gift from God while saying that Gays and Transgenders are not. These people also say that babies should be born whether or not they have a birth defect that is correctible by modern medicine. If you believe that God created the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve then you should believe that he created Eden because he wanted us to have a wonderful place to live and companionship. In today’s world I believe that the US Constitution in saying that we all have the right to the pursuit of happiness that it fits with God’s desire for Eden. To achieve this utopia I believe we must depend on each other; that we including the rich and famous are incomplete without the clothes, cars, houses and more made by others or the services provided (haircuts, waiters/waitresses, mechanics, janitors, etc) by the not so rich or famous people. I don’t think life is just about lungs breathing and a heart beating. People should be alive (animated and busy) and therefore not lying in a bed and/or just existing because their essential organs are functioning. Inside my body I think I have a mind that provides the strength to learn, do things and allows me to dream (hope, desire and visualize) as well as a soul (the moral fiber that gives me the courage to face my fears) that guides the decisions I make in my time on this earth. So, I believe that life is mind, body and soul and without all 3 a person is not living. Without a good soul I am not living as God intended and I’ll go into this more when I talk about my belief that the death penalty is supported by the bible and not forbidden. I too don’t believe in a birth control device or abortion as the first measure of contraception. But I do believe we all (including the unborn) have a right to some peace. Birth control allows for an unwanted baby not to be born. The main reason for abortion and birth control is because people fail to act in the way described by Pope John Paul II; another reason is because of problems with the fetus. Because of their failure I think people are confused about abortion; those that truly don’t believe in abortion should be supportive of birth control in order prevent the death of the fetus. I also believe in being unwanted that both the fetus and the parents have a slim chance in their pursuit of happiness; no one wishes to be homeless, poor, molested or anything other than something that gives them pleasure (I’ll talk about this more when I talk about the welfare program). There is also the idea that women should be barefoot and pregnant. Lust and incest is in the beginning of the bible prior to the coming of Christ (note: women were the last to leave the cross and the first at the tomb). Luke 8:1–3 speaks of Jesus being supported by women; in Numbers Chapter 27 Moses speaks to the Lord regarding woman having property and the Lord makes it her right and in Chapter 30 the Lord allows woman to make contracts. The respect of women is also in Romans Chapter 16 when Paul sends greetings and salutes the women who have helped the church and Jesus Christ; in Philippians 4:3 Paul says - And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellow-laborers, whose names are in the book of life; in Matthew Chapter 26 Jesus is anointed by Mary of Bethany and said to his disciples in verses 10-13 – Why trouble ye the woman for she hath wrought a good work upon me. For ye have the poor always with you but me ye have not always. For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body’ she did it for my burial. Verily I say unto you, wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the world there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her; Proverbs 12:4 says – A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband but she that make ashamed is as rottenness in his bones, Proverbs 18:22 says – Whoso find a wife find a good thing and obtains favor of the lord and there are other saying that show respect. Today’s men that think women are to be barefoot and pregnant in my opinion do not follow God’s intended teachings and are the same ones that don’t want to pay for birth control. Catholics have a Serenity Prayer - God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. But, I don’t find people doing their best to achieve the intent of the prayer. There is no calmness, tranquility, or composure (Serenity), there is no bravery or daring in our politicians (courage) and there is no understanding or good judgment (wisdom) when it comes to each other’s differences. About a week ago I prayed that we be saved from Rick Santorum and others like him (3/25 Jeb Bush-former Florida Governor-said it’s time for Republicans to come together and back Romney; Romney got the endorsement of a Florida Senator, George HW Bush and a Wisconsin Representative and took Illinois, Wisconsin, Maryland and DC). On April 10, 2012 my prayer was answered as Santorum dropped out of the race (took 10 states). However a democracynow.org article stated that the Wisconsin Republican Governor signed bills on April 5 that had Democrats slamming him for signing laws that attacked the rights of women. Among the bills was a repeal of the state’s Equal Pay Enforcement Act (gave women and other marginalized groups more power to fight wage discrimination-according to the Alliance for Women’s Health women in Wisconsin make 75 cents for every $1 men earn). Another bill bans most abortion coverage under policies obtained through a health insurance exchange set to be created with Obama’s healthcare reform law, allowing coverage only for rape, incest or medical necessity. A bill requires every woman seeking an abortion to undergo an exam before the procedure so the doctor can ensure she’s not being pressured (doctors violating the law could be charged with a felony). Another bill requires school teachers offering sex education to stress abstinence and no longer address contraception; Wisconsin’s current law requires some instruction on birth control options.
